Biography: During his early days in Mumbai, Arshad struggled for a living as he was orphaned at the age of 14. As he had a keen interest in dancing so he joined a Dance group in Mumbai to earn a living. At the age of 21 he won the fourth prize in the English Jazz Dancing Competition. With that prize money he started his own dance school.
Finally in the year 1996, he did his debut from Amitabh Bachchan's first production Tere Mere Sapne. After that he acted in many movies which probably did not do very well at the box-office, however it was the comedy film Munnabhai MBBS which was a huge box office success and gained him the much awaited critical acclaim and then followed a series of hit from Arshad like Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya , Salaam Namaste , Golmaal and Lage Raho Munnabhai , the sequel to Munnabhai M.B.B.S and Dhamaal .
Arshad married Maria Goretti on February 14, 1999. Now they are proud parents of a son and daughter named Zeke Zidaan and Zene Zoe.
