 profile Aamir Khan son of Tahir Hussain and Zeenat Hussain, also known as `A.K.` is the most renowned actor of the Indian Film Industry. Though Aamir Khan was born at Mumbai (India) on March 1965 but his forefathers migrated from Afghanistan. He belonged to a conservative Muslim family, which was affiliated with the film industry for years. He got his first chance to take part in the film (Yadon ki Barat) which was production of his uncle named Nasir Hussain as a child, at the age of only 8 years. Madhosi (1974) is an other movie of his childhood. Then there is a gap of 10 years between him and the film Industry. He surfaced again in 1984 in the art film Holly and since then he is the most favourite actor of the Industry after Amitabh Bachan. He is the most expensive actor of the Indian film industry.

Like script of most of the Indian Films, he also fell in love in his real life with her next door neighbour, Reena and subsequently he proposed her at the age of 21 years. Reena accepted the proposal and they got married. Unfortunately Aamir`s first marriage was not successful The conflicts resulted into divorce in December 2001. Aamir Khan again got married Kiran Rao in December 2005. Though he has spent more than 30 years in affiliation of the film industry but he is graded as the least scandaled hero of his field.

He, as an actor kept dominating the Indian Film Industry and always remained at lead with other competitor actors. Just after the release of his movie “Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak” which was released when he was only of 23 years, he was a famous hero and love of his nation. His record breaking and talent proving movies include Dil (1990), Dil he K Manta Nahi (1990), Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar(1992), Ham Hain Rahi Payar kay (1993), Andaaz Apna Apna(1994), Bolly Wood Dreams(1995), Raja Hindustani(1996), Ishq (1997), Ghulam (1998),Sarfarosh (1999), Dil Chahta Hai (2001), Lagaan(2001), Mangal Panday (2005),        Fanaa (2006),Rang Day Basanti (2006) , Baazi (2006), record business holder movie `Ghajni` (2008) and next released movie “Three Idiots” broken all records of Ghajni even.

Though Aamir Khan is very selective in signing the movies even then every film maker of the industry is keen to have Aamir Khan in his movie. Frequency of his movies as compare to other heroes is very less, but every time when he appears on the big screen he enjoys his unique quality of love from his fans.

Aamir Khan seems to be bit annoyed with the performance award system of Indian Film Industry and never showed any interest in the awards. He has reservation on the precision and merit. However, he received his first ever National Film Award (Special Jury Honour) as an gratitude of his character in the `Raakh`, followed by Best Actor Award (Filmfare Award) for Raja Hindustani (1996), Academy Award nomination for the best actor against his excellent performance in the movie` Lagaan`. Aamir Khan also won best actor award (Filmfare Critics) for marvelous acting in Rang Day Basanti (2006).

In 2007, Aamir Khan stepped in as an outstanding director and released his amazing movie “Taare Zameen Par”. This angle of his personality further added in his fame and the movie “Taare Zameen par” proved to be a record breaking movie with a totally new concept and innovation of his mind. He won Best Director `Filmfare Award` as a recognition to his skills which he proved as an director of movie. The government of India also awarded Aamir Khan with Padma Shri (India`s fourth highest Civil Honour) in 2003 and Padma Bhushan (India`s fourth highest Civil Honour)  in 2010.

Aamir Khan`s personality is considered to be the most successful when compared with the movies vs the fame and revenue he received in the Indian Film Industry. Some times, he has remained out of seen even for consecutive four years at the peak of his career, but the moment he surfaced again he ensured his name as an outstanding performer in the Film Industry.
