Biography: Atul Kulkarni was born in Karnataka, but spent most of his childhood in Solapur. His father is a businessman and his mother is a housewife. After completed his schooling from Haribhai Devkaran High School, Solapur in Maharastra.Atul had even managed to accquire admission in Engineering college in Belgaum after his 12th Std examination. But destiny had different plans for him, he cancelled his admission for engineering and instead did his graduation in English literature.
From his schooldays itself Atul had interest in theatre plays, as a result he had joined the Natya Aradhana, an amateur theatre group from Solapur. Later he decided to learn acting on a professional note and joined the National School of Drama, New Delhi.
