Indian Actress Celina Jaitley was born on 24th November 1981 in Kabul Afghanistan. Her dad was a Punjabi Indian Army Colonel and her mother was a nurse in the Indian army. Celina Jaitley is an ex model who has ventured into movies, mainly because of her good looks. In the year 2001 she won the Miss India Universe contest. Her early life ambition was to either join the army just like her dad, become a pilot or a doctor. She wanted to serve the forces just like all her other family members. She grew up in different countries and location as a kid, mainly because of her dad getting transferred in different cities of India. Her family is now finally settled in Kolkata.

Celina Jaitley had her fair share of success in the modeling profession. Apart from winning the Miss India contest in 2001, she took part in the Miss Universe 2001, where she represented India. Celina progressed a long way in the contest and finished 4th runner up. Her success on the ramp led her to the glitz and glamour of bollywood, where she made her movie debut opposite Fardeen Khan in Feroz Khan’s Janasheen in the year 2003. The movie had moderate success, but Celina Jaitley caught the eye of everyone because of her ravishing looks. In the same year her second movie released which was titled Khel she was paired opposite former Indian cricketer Ajay Jadeja and Sunil Shetty; the movie did not manage to win the audience over.

Year 2005 saw Celina Jaitley get the first hit of her career. Her multi starrer comedy venture No Entry starring Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan & Bipasha Basu become a super hit. Celina played the role of Fardeen Khan’s wife in this comic movie. After that a barrage of flops followed in the shape of Jawani Diwani, Apna Sapna Money Money, Tom, Dick & Harry, Shakalaka Boom Boom and many others. In the year 2008 she starred in another multi starrer hit Golmaal Returns. The Ajay Devegan, Arshad Warsi, Kareena Kapoor & Tushar Kapoor Starrer become a huge hit and with it Celina Jaitley got a much needed hit.

In 2009 she did her first solo female oriented movie which was titled Accident on Hill Road, the movie had a very interested and gripping story. It was not the usual commercial bollywood movie. Although the movie was not a box office success but Celina Jaitley was lauded for her intense act in the movie, and with it probably for the first time it was her acting that got the attention of people rather than her looks.

Apart from movies, Celina Jaitley is the brand ambassador of Egypt tourism and she also endorses Diya Diamond Jewellers. On 23rd July 2011 Celina Jaitley got in holy matrimonial with her fiancé Peter Haag. Who happens to be an Austrian Business based in Dubai. Their wedding took place at a thousand year old monastery in Austria. In August 2011 she announced her wedding to her fans via social networking site twitter and apologized for the delay in announcement of her wedding and told that the delay was due to a tragedy in the family. She also posted her wedding picture for her fans. The Beautiful actress has given the undertaking to Aditya Jyot Eyes Hospital, that after her life she will donate her eyes to the hospital as she think this leading Eye hospital is doing a world of good by giving people a new lease of life. Celina is no stranger to international cinema as her has already featured in the a movie called Love Has No Language in 2007. It is rumored that this green eyed bollywood siren will be seen in the Hollywood flick Quest of Scheherazade opposite legendary actor Sean Connery and Orlando Bloom, she will play the role of a Persian princess.
