Gayatri Joshi is one of the famous hot bollywood actresses. She was born on 20th March 1977 in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. She belongs to a joshi family that speaks Marathi. Shes been called by the nickname of GM and has a height of around 5' 9".Her fathers name is Late Ramniwas Ji Runthala. The actress started her academic career from  Mount Carmel High School in Nagpur. After studying few months in this school, her parents were shifted to Bombay, therefore she had to complete rest of her schooling from J.B. High School, Dadar. She took her higher secondary education from Sydenham College and completed her graduation in Commerce from the same institute.Gayatri started her professional career as a model in a very small age.During her college studies she worked with one of the top companies and brands like Godrej, LG, Ponds, Bombay Dyeing, Sunsilk, Philips. She also had the opportunity to work with the superstar King Khan in one of the advertisements of Hyndai.

She got engaged to Mr Vikas Oberoi on June 23, 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S.A.On August 27, 2005, she tied the knot of marriage with the business tycoons Vikas Oberoi.Hes the Managing Director of Oberoi Constructions.The wedding took place at the great Grand Hyatt Hotel.A huge number of guests were invited, amongst them were Twinkle Khanna, Isha Koppikar, Abbas-Mastan, Rakesh Roshan, Bhushan Kumar, Inder Kumar. On September 1,2006, she gave birth to a baby boy,named Vihaan.

She officially started her professional career by taking part in Femina Miss India Contest in 1999 and was amongst the top five finalists of this contest. It is said that she was in a contract of not signing any new project until Swades hit the screen. She likes Shahrukh Khan as an actor and desires to work more with him in future.
