Keerthi Reddy is an Indian, Telugu, Tamil actress who was born on 17th November 1978. Her father was a interior designer and her mother a dress designer. Keerthi’s Grandfather was a Politian. Her siblings own a win business. Her early life schooling was conducted in Bangalore. She took Bharatanatyam dance lessons for eight years. She enrolled in Ryeson University in Canada & U.S.

Before joining the bollywood industry she tried her luck in Telugu and Tamil movies. Her first Tamil movie titled Gunshot which was released in 1996 and was S.V.Krishna’s movie, flopped badly at the box office. Her only successful movie in the Telugu industry was Tholi Prema which release in 1998. After that she acted in several Telugu and Tamil movies but none of them worked at the box office.

Her first bollywood movie was Tera Jadoo Chal Gayaa opposite Abhishek Bachan. The movie was rejected by the audience and it flopped badly at the box office, from her acting to the direction and the dialogues everything about the movie was condemned by the Critics and audience. There were many expectations from her second movie Pyaar ishq Aur Mohabbat starring Arjun Rampal, Aftab Shivdasani & Sunil Shetty but that too flopped miserably at the box office. The music score of the movie was excellent but much to the disappointment of everyone the movie did not live up to its hype.

Her next and last bollywood venture was in the year 2002 when she was signed for the movie Badhaai ho Badhaai opposite Anil Kapoor, in which she played the character of a Christian girl named Florence also bit the dust and was declared a major flop. After that she only did one Telugu film called Arjun which worked well on the box office and for her performance she won the Filmfare Best Supporting Actress award in a telugu film.

In 2004 Keerthi tied the knot with Telugu actor Sumanth but unfortunately the coupled split in 2006. Belonging to the family of Politicians this shy and innocent actress since birth wanted to be the part of the film world. She received Classic music training also learned voice modulation. Since Keerthi had shown a desire to part of indian film cinema since an early age her father and Grand Father had little objection about her joining the glamour world.

In her free time Keerthi takes Jaaz and Salsa training, apart from that she also is a trained horse rider. In one of her interviews she said that dance is her inspiration and a passion, and that she loves travelling to different parts of the world and pointed out that Vienna is her most favorite city in the whole world. Keerthi said that she is a simple uncomplicated girl and loves to take part in household chores like house cleaning, grocery shopping. She also has a passion for reading and her favorite Hollywood actors are Andy Griffin, Micheal Douglas and Brad Pitt while she also admires bollywood actor Sanjeev Kumar. Her favorite Hollywood flick are The Piano and Lolita.
