Kim Michelle Sharma known as Kim Sharma in the film industry was born on 21st January 1980 and is a bollywood actress best known for her role in Aditya Chopra’s Mohabattein. She was born in Ahmednagar to a Japanese mother and an Indian father. Her schooling was conducted in Convent of St. Joseph’s. After her twelfth standard she quit her studies and took up modeling assignments. Her first major breakthrough came when she was selected to do the Close-Up toothpaste advert. After that she modeled on TV for various famous brands like Pepsi, Liril, Clean n Clear, Fair n Lovely, Sunsilk, Tata Safari & ponds. Kim Sharma is also the product representative of Olay.

Her first bollywood assignment was a dream assignment when she was casted in Aditya Chopra’s love story Mohabattein. She along with Uday Chopra, Jimmy Shergill, Shamita Shetty and Preeti Jhangiani made their debut in the film. The movie had Amitabh Bachan, Aishwarya Rai and Shahrukh khan in lead roles. The movie was a smash hit in India and abroad and Kim Sharma got a fairy tale start to her movie career. Her performance in the movie was also much appreciated by the critics and audience alike.

Her second venture in bollywood was Tumse Acha Kaun hai. The film was not a successful one. Her next movie in the year 2002 was opposite Jimmy Shergill titled Kehta hai Dil Bar Bar. It was a soft romantic comedy inspired from Hollywood movie Meet the Fockers. Her performance in the movie was good and audience liked the movie. In the year 2004 she starred in the Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Fardeen Khan starrer Fida. Kim Sharma had a supporting role in the movie.

There is no denying the acting potential of this actress but her choice of roles and movies are something of a worry, which can be further proved by the fact that her movies like Yakeen, Taj Mahal, Tom Dick and harry, Ladies Tailor, Zindagee Rocks, Moonlight, Kudiyon Ka hai Zamana have all flopped miserably at the box office. Very few people know the fact that the sultry Kim Sharma is the cousin of bollywood hunk Arjun Rampal. Her failure to find a hit movie had her work in brainless multi starrer comedies, that came and went without anyone noticing.

Apart from the Hindi film industry she has also worked in Telugu and Tamil movies. Not only that but she also played a part in Pakistani movie Godfather: The legend Continues and international film The Whisperers.

Kim Sharma was rumored to be dating Indian Cricketer Yuvraj Singh, but they allegedly broke up a few years ago. She is now in a relationship with Carlos Marin who is the Vocalist of Spanish band II Divo. It is also rumored that she will feature in her boy friend’s next music album.

Kim Sharma has gone on record to say that during her days off she loves to shop, travel around the world and read fictional books.
