She started her early education from Bombay Scottish School in Mahim, Mumbai. She completed graduation from Sydenham College. Being the youngest member of her family she has been always pampered by her parents. Till 19 she was known to be a tomboy having plump body with glasses on her face. She has always been calm and quiet by nature unlike her other sisters.
The actress didn’t tie a knot of marriage yet and is still single. Although she has claimed to be in a relationship with Shamshul Lalani, who is a Mumbai based builder.
Sameera Reddy started her career by performing in
music videos. Pankhaj Udass ghazal “Aahista Aahista” gave her an immense popularity. She was a graduate when performed in this video.
Taking her work into account she was casted in a Hindi film “Maine Dil Tujhko Diya” in 2002. In 2004, she was starred in another film “Musafir”. Reddy performed a role of a confident, modest girl in one of a Tamil film Vaaranam Aayiram which was directed by Gauthan Menon. Her co star was Surya Sivakumar and the film hit the box office.
