But there are some people who adapt the changes surrounding them and they have the capabilities to mould them. Among such examples include the Udita Goswami who was firstly the model, however later she became the actress. Born in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India, her date of birth is February 9, 1984. Her mother is from Shillong and her father is from Benares, India. There is not much known about the education of Udita Goswami, however, it is known that her education included the time she spent in Dehradun where she studies in the D.A.V Public school. She studied in that school up to grade 8, after which she went to study in the school namely Maa Anandmayi Memorial School. Therefore, her most of the time growing up was spent in Dehradun. As she tells about it, it was the quite good time of her life and she misses it.
With the height of 5’8”, she has been a born model. While she was walking on the ramps for the different designers, she was noticed by the advertisement agencies to cast her in their campaigns. She walked on the ramp for the very famous designers like Verma, Suneet and Tarun Tahil Yani. Later, she was in the cast for the famous brands and campaign commercials for Nokia, Pepsi, and Titan. She has also worked as the cover girl for the Elle, Cosmopolitan and Femina. Hence, her best initial work in the different fashion shows as models and the different product campaign has bought her the ticket in the showbiz to be casted in the movies. Before she starts working in the movies, she was winner of the MTV model Mission season 2 and was chosen as the “Model of the Year Asia 2001.” This was the great achievement for Udita Goswami. Later that year, there were news that she was dating the famous director namely Mohit Suri.
Her very first debut in the movies was in the Pooja Bhatt Bollywood movie namely “Paap” which was released in 2003. This movie was the moderate success, and it brought quite the good reviews for Udita Goswami as an actress. She appeared next in the movie “Zeher” which was released in the year 2005. She did the movie with the Shamita Shetty, while her male counterpart was Emraan Hashmi. This was the super hit movie for Udita Goswami. Because of the success for this movie, Udita Goswami became the popular face in the Indian film industry. Later, she appeared in the movie “Aksar” which was released in 2006, and it was also the good movie on the box office. She was included in the cast of
music video made by Ahmed Khan and it was the remix of “Kya Khoob Lagti Ho.” She worked in quite the number of movies, and that included: “Dil Diya Hai, Kisse Pyaar Karoon, Aggar, Fox, Chase, Rokkk, Apartment, and Helloo India.” These movies are also the good movies of Udita Goswami. Some of these movies were either the special appearance of her, or they are having the friendly appearance in those movies by Udita Goswami. Hence, looking at the movies of Udita Goswami, there is one thing which is quite evident. She had the great transition from just being a model to the film actress, and this is doing great for her. All of these characters she played in the movies were great and shows her talent. However, there is no award winning or nominations recorded for her.
