She has been nominated 5 times in the Filmfare Awards as the best actress, best supporting actress and won the Filmfare award two times in her career. She has been nominated two times for the Star Screen awards and won them both times. She has also been nominated for IIFA awards, Bollywood Movie awards, Apsara Producers Guild awards, Zee Cine Awards, and Stardust awards. She was not only nominated for them, but she also won many of them. Hence, on the basis of this, she was also awarded the Rajiv Gandhi awards. The total number of her nominations exceeds 20, and the number of her award winning to 8. She is truly a legend in the Indian film industry.
