There are many actors in the film industry who are working for a long time; however, they are not recognized for their work. Only some luck factor later brings them to the top and the world starts to know them. Vidya Balan is among them. For a long time, she worked in the quite some movies, and however, they went nothing for her. Later, with one hit, she became the quite popular star in India. Born in Palakand, Kerala, India on January 1st, 1978, the 33 years of her life has seen many ups and down especially when she steps in the Showbiz. Her father is the Vice president of ETC channel and her mother is from the Tamil speaking family. Therefore, she is well tuned to both languages. Her very first schooling happened in the St. Anthony Girls High School which is in Mumbai, and then she went to St. Xavier’s College in the Mumbai. She graduated in Sociology. Later she went to University of Mumbai to get the degree of MA when she was spotted as the stunning beauty and got her first role in the movies. She can speak in all Bengali, Hindi, Malayalam, English, and Tamil languages and have the good grip of these languages.

Her very first film in which she did the work in the Malayalam movie namely “Chakram” but that movie went nowhere. She worked next in the Tamil Movie namely “Run,” however; the filming of that movie was stopped for some reasons. When the filming of that movie resumed, then Vidya Balan was replaced with Meera Jasmine. The movie Chakram was also shelved, however, when it’s shooting resumed, Meera Jasmine has been in the cast instead of Vidya Balan. Having these disastrous experiences in the film industry, she went to the advertisements, and appeared in many advertisements. Later she was in the cast of the music videos for the bands and singers, such as Shubha Mudgal, Pankaj Udas, and Euphoria. The year 2003 brought her the great luck when she was chosen as the leading role in the Bengali movie namely “Bhalo Theko.” That movie was the great success. However, she became more famous with the movie namely “Parineeta” which was released in 2005. This movie was in Hindi and was rendered the huge success on the Indian box office. In 2006, she worked in “Lage Raho Munna Bhai” which was also the great success of Vidya Balan’s career.

In later years, she also appeared in many movies. Some of them were flop while the others were the huge success. Through these movies, she has been known as the great Indian actress and the one who showed quite the persistence in her work. She worked in many movies in very few years and makes a good place for her. Among the movies include the “Guru, Eklavya: The Royal Guard, Halla Bol, Salam-e-Ishq: A Tribute To Love, Om Shanti Om(Special appearance), Kismat Konnection, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, No One Killed Jessica, Ishqiya, Paa, Dum Maaro Dum, Thank you, The Dirty Picture, etc.” hence all of these movies bearded the marks that she is great actress in Bollywood. Therefore, on the basis of her acting, she has been nominated in many awards and won numbers of them. She has been nominated 7 times in Filmfare awards and won 4 of them for Best film debut, Face of the year, Critics and Best actress award. In Star Screen awards, IIFA awards, Stardust awards, and Apsara awards, she has been nominated 19 times and won 11 of them for the different categories. She also won the miscellaneous awards for her acting in the different movies.It is not a great surprise that she is the great Indian actress in the film industry.
