Biography

Adriana Sklenarikova was born in a very poor country - Brezno, Slovakia, which was the former Russian state of Czechoslovakia. The country was always involved in wars. She was born on September 17, 1971. Her childhood times was thus not very easy. Since she came from such a poor and war bitten country so stepping into the world of fashion and adopting modelling as her carere was not very easy for Adriana Sklenarikova. The beginning came when she enrolled as a medical student in Prague then she took part in a modeling contest and won.

Its just right to say that Adriana is a well accomplished model and a true definition of beauty. at this scale of her success she has graced the covers of every men's magazine, she has graced the yearly issue of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. The Next Modeling Agency was impressed byt the grace and incredible beauty of Adrianan Lima and therefore they immediately contraceted with her. the same was with the Elite Modeling in Milan. Thus good offers and contracts flowed to her like anything.

Another big break came after being chosen as the new Wonder Bra girl that added incredible exposure for her, and she has been in plenty of advertisement campaigns since then. Adriana has represented many big companies including Argentovivo, Byron Lars, Laura Biagiotti, Levante Hosiery, List, Love Sex Money, Onyx Jeans, Peroni Beer, Red Point, and Roberto Cavalli. In 1999, the weekly magazine L'Evénèment published a list of favorites where in the French erotic dreams Adriana is listed together with Sophie Marceau and Laetitia Casta. This was the start of brilliant career as a model in Paris. Adriana's modeling contract with Peroni Beer paved the final stretch to fame, where she appeared in TV spots. She is now part of the Victoria Secret modeling team with other great supermodels like Tyra Banks and Daniela Pestova.

On a personal note she is married to Christian Karembeu the star of soccer. She now happily resides with her husband in Madrid.
