The winsome blond actress of Scary Movie fame grew up in Seattle and began acting while attending the University of Washington, doing stage and voiceover work before moving to Los Angeles upon graduation in 1999. She auditioned for a solid six months before landing Scary Movie in 2000; she proved a natural at comedy. The movie raked in $250 million, and she was cast in its sequels. Most of her roles have been on the light side, although she has taken on a few quirky parts, like Lost in Translation's self-absorbed starlet (rumored to be a stab at Cameron Diaz) and the lesbian veterinary receptionist in the little-seen but well-received horror movie May.
