Some call her sophisticated, others call her haughty, but not up for debate is the success of her career. Ashley Judd grew up on the road with singing duo mom Naomi and sister Wynona. After graduation from the University of Kentucky she moved to Los Angeles in 1990 and immediately set out on the road to discovery by hostessing at industry hotspot the Ivy. She landed her first major role in Ruby in Paradise in 1993, and almost overnight landed on Hollywood's A-list with parts in movies including Heat, the 1996 TV movie Norma Jean & Marilyn and a number of thrillers ( Kiss the Girls, Eye of the Beholder and High Crimes), which she's balanced out with chick flicks like Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood.
