In not even two decades, Jennifer Lopez went from being an anonymous backup dancer to one of Hollywood's most famous faces. Having put herself through dance school and auditions since age 16, Lopez finally landed her first high-profile gig as a Fly Girl on In Living Color in 1991. She appeared in a few failed TV shows and Janet Jackson music videos before garnering roles in movies such as Money Train, Blood and Wine and her biggest breakthrough, Selena. With huge film flops such as Gigli and Jersey Girl (both made with one-time fiancé Ben Affleck), J-Lo remains best-known as a singer; she's had a number of top 10 singles and albums. She expanded her empire in the early '00s with two clothing lines and two fragrances and co-starred with husband Marc Anthony in 2007's El Cantante.
