But in 1999, Weisz was thrilled to star as Evelyn in The Mummy and its sequel (when she was offered the part, she beelined for a pub to celebrate). Weisz again delivered strong performances in About a Boy and Runaway Jury, but it was her supporting role in The Constant Gardener that earned her both a Golden Globe and an Academy Award.
