A highly praised American actor and producer, Don Cheadle has given some very brilliant performance as an actor and producer. He has captivated the audience from his outstanding acts and appearances.

Don Cheadle was born in Kansas City on November 29, 1964 and has one brother and one sister. His early childhood was spent in Denver and then in Nebraska. Cheadle presently live in Santa Monica, California. His partner is actress Bridgid Coulter from whom he has two lovely daughters.

From an early age, he was fond of acting and liked jazz music. He was having interests in these two fields. While he was in early classes he turned to acting.
In early 80’s, Cheadle then went to attend the California Institute for the Arts in Valencia, California. He obtained a thorough education theater and acting and soon he turned to Television after getting his degree. He was casted in some of the episodes of shows such as Fame, Hill Street Blues and L.A. Law. Besides, he was also appearing in theatres.

Cheadle appeared in the television series Picket Fences. His performance brought him in the limelight. Then he performed in the film Devil in a Blue Dress. His enthralling performance in the movie was appreciated. The role he performed was a complex and challenging one and it earned him many awards. He was awarded the Los Angeles Film Critics Association and the National Society of Film Critics. He also got nominated for Screen Actors Guild and N.A.A.C.P. Image Awards.

In 90’s he went on doing many roles and appeared in many series on TV. He was casted in the HBO film A Lesson before Dying and Things behind the Sun. His performances and powerful roles earned him Emmy nominations. After film after film, he appeared in Boogie Nights and Traffic. His performance in the movies was appreciated a lot.

After his sequels of successes and hits, his path was smooth and he was being casted in famous movies. He was much into the Hollywood industry. Cheadle appeared in the film Hotel Rwanda. This film was based on the carnage in Rwanda.  His role was prized and he got nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor.

Besides acting, he also produced few films. The movie Crash was co-produced by Cheadle. He worked in a film. This movie was a huge success and it gained worldwide commendation. His movie was awarded an Academy Award for Best Picture. He was also nominated a BAFTA and Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Supporting Actor.
He has been appeared in Rush Hour 2, Ocean's Eleven, Ocean's Twelve, Ocean's Thirteen, Traitor, Iron Man 2 and the The Guard. In Reign over Me he co-starred with Adam Sandler. He has been nominated for many awards and he has been recognized for his performances and wonderful contributions to the film industry.
