Jason Nathaniel Behr was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on December 30, 1973. He has brothers and sisters. He has dated Roswell co-star Katherine Heigl. Later he married actress KaDee Strickland. He performed as Max Evans in Roswell, and he famous for this role.

He started acting when he was quite young. He performed on stage in many theaters; he appeared in many commercials and gave voice-overs. He also tried modeling as his interest. During his school years, he continued performing at various projects.
