Marco Antonio Muñiz was born in New York City to Puerto Rican parents Guillermina and Felipe Muniz on September 16, 1968.  He was named after a Mexican singer Marco Antonio Muñiz and he was raised as a catholic and he has a sister Yolanda Muniz. Anthony has a relation with his girlfriend Debbie, a New York City police officer. He has a daughter from Debbie, named Ariana. Marc Anthony married ex- Miss Universe Dayanara Torres in 2000. Their matrimonial bond did not end long and the couple divorced. They had two sons Cristian Anthony Muniz and Ryan Anthony Muniz together. Within a week of his divorce, he married Jennifer Lopez a Puerto Rican entertainer. They had fraternal twins Emme Maribel Muñiz, and Maximilian David Muñiz, born in 2008. In July this year, the couple has announced their separation.

Marc Anthony was raised in New York City with his sister, Yolanda Muniz.  From an early age he listened and was inclined to Latin music.
