One of the most attractive and charming personalities of Hollywood, remained as the most sexiest man alive, famous for his roles in Saving Private Ryan , Bourne Series and Oceans Trilogy The movie Good Will Hunting in real brought him into limelight and opened the doors of success and adventures for him.

Matthew Paige Damon was born on 8 October1970 in Boston, Massachusetts, USA to Kent Damon and Nancy Carlsson-Paige. He has one elder brother Kyle who is sculptor.  His parents divorced in his early childhood and that was very unfortunate for him and his brother.  He moved to Cambridge with his mother and was raised in Massachusetts.  During his childhood he lived near Ben Affleck’s home. Their common and similar interests and passions made their friendship bond stronger forever. They both played baseball together and acted as co-stars in many plays. He has done many ventures with best friend Ben Affleck. He has dated and has relationships with many ladies including Minnie Driver and Winona Ryder, but at last he married Argentine-born Luciana Bozán Barroso, in December 2005 in New York City Hall. He met her when he was filming Stuck on You in Miami. He is happily married to her and they have three daughters together, Isabella Gia Zavala and Stella Zavala. He also has a stepdaughter, Alexa, from Barroso's previous marriage.
Matt went to Cambridge Ridge and Latin School, located in Cambridge. He was fond of acting so he performed in numerous theater and plays. He joined Harvard University and opted English as major. He was not a regular student and skipped a lot of his classes because of his acting ventures. Soon e left his degree to carry his acting profession.

He started his career with few flicks including Drama “School Ties”. The he starred in “Courage under Fire” as a drug-addict soldier. He was the casted in the film, “The Rainmaker”. The same year, he co-wrote the script of Good Will Hunting with friend-actor Ben Affleck. This movie was a huge success and brought an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for both of them. His performance and talent of screen writing was greatly recognized globally.

After the smash hit, “Good Will Hunting” he was approached by Steven Spielberg for his film, Saving Private Ryan. It was one of the most acknowledged films of its time. Matt played the role of a soldier, Ryan whose three brothers who were also soldiers were killed. A team was sent to save him and bring him back to his mother. Matt was lucky to work with some senior actors in this film including Tom Hanks and Vin Diesel.

After that he appeared in “The Talented Mr. Ripley” in which Jude Law and Gwyneth Paltrow also acted.  Matt’s performance was appreciated in the movie. After that, he starred in one of the hits Bourne series. He played the role of an assassin “Jason Bourne" in the trilogy. “The Bourne Identity” and its sequels, “The Bourne Supremacy “and “The Bourne Ultimatum”, all proved box office hits.

Then he came in "Ocean's" movie series which was a comedy and crime drama. He was lucky to have a chance starring opposite George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts and Don Cheadle in Ocean's Eleven. The other sequels were “Ocean's Twelve” and “Ocean's thirteen” which proved a real success.  The other famous movies in which Matt starred are “The Departed” and “The Good Shepherd”. He has also starred in the adventure and thrilling movie, Green Zone.

He has been greatly involved in different charity projects. Damon has been nominated for a number of awards and won many. He got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  He has also been given the Academy Award nomination for his role in the super hit film, Invictus.
