\"Thankfully, no one asked me about SRK\'s favorite colour\" - Farah Khan

Recently, Farah Khan conducted a Masterclass on Bollywood at London. This was as a follow up to the reception she had where The Mayfair Media Club celebrated her award winning career as a Film Director and Choreographer. Farah has fond memories about the event and the interview she gave, especially since it was indeed a 'different' experience and went into the technicalities of making a film rather than focusing on gossip. "Thankfully no one asked me about Shah Rukh Khan's favorite colour in the event," laughs Farah who admits that she would love to be a part of more such shows/events which are centered on academic and technical aspects of making a film. "Really, it was indeed a different experience because I got a platform to speak on things like editing and production design amongst others. I was half expecting one of the tabloid journalists standing up and enquiring about a scoop behind a particular actor turning late on the sets", adds Farah in a lighter vein. There were clips shown from her directed films like Om Shanti Om and Main Hoon Naa in the Masterclass which was attended by select 50 people. "There were quite a few people belonging to the film fraternity all the way from Nigeria (where Bollywood is in fact turning out to be quite huge), Yorkshire, Dubai and Abu Dhabi who attended the class. The reception was attended by around 175 others who felicitated Farah", says a filmmaker who was a part of the event. For Farah, one of the high points of her London visit was a chance meeting with Steve Barron, director of Michael Jackson's chartbuster single 'Billie Jean' from 'Thriller'. "It was unbelievable to come face to face with him. I wanted to make sure that I was actually interacting with THE Steve. It was overwhelming", says Farah.
