Two piping hot rumours
Two piping hot rumours. We've been sworn to secrecy, so can't take names. But you can guess...
Rumour 1: The leading corporate house [let's call it 'U', so that you don't get confused] is in talks to acquire two films of the leading production house ['D']. So what's new? Such deals keep happening all the while, right? But this one's an exception. All the biggies produced by 'D' have been distributed by another premier production house ['Y'], including the latest film that was released a few weeks ago.
'U' has offered Rs. 78 crores for the two films that 'D' is producing. The first film, based on terrorism and starring two real-life lovers, is priced at Rs. 50 cr., while the second film, starring the teen sensation and a natural actress, is priced at Rs. 28 cr.
The question that comes to your mind is, whatever happened to the dostana between 'D' and 'Y', which used to distribute the former's movies all this while?
Rumour 2: The real-life married couple will team up yet again for a film that will be directed by a well-known director, whose films win critical acclaim. Reportedly, this film will be a remake of the yesteryear hit, which starred the evergreen hero.
