Vikram Bhatt is known to be one filmmaker who leaves no stone unturned in giving his films the perfect look. After all, who can forget the magical European castle which formed the backdrop of his recent spook-fest 1920. Now Vikram, who is currently busy with Phirr, starring his 1920 hit pair of Rajneesh Duggal and Adah Sharma has gone ahead and done something which very few producers would dare to do. He, along with director of Phirr- Girish Dhamija recently completed an extensive schedule of the film in the UK during the course of which they hired a beautiful and gorgeous ship called the 'Ice Maiden'. Shooting aboard the ship cost Vikram a whopping 6000 pounds per day. "It was the costliest shoot that I have done," he says. Probe him a little further if spending such an amount on a ship was worth it and he says "I am not a fool to spend that amount on hiring a ship, if it wasn't required. I can't reveal much but the ship is an essential aspect in the climax of the film. The temperature was freezing... It was below zero... in weather conditions like this it becomes difficult to shoot action sequences. But it was worth the experience," adds Vikram. Let's hope Vikram gets his returns on this investment when Phirr hits theatres next year.
