We have seen many of the movies featured on new comers to make history and one of the most fascinating one was Raj Kapoor's Bobby that was released around four decades back. Now this time Karan have done a similar thing for his upcoming most ambitious project STUDENT OF THE YEAR for which he has cast three newcomers when he could have signed any big names for this movie.
This is the case not attempted by many of the filmmakers but Karan Johar is quite confident and thus has taken courage to launch new faces for his project. You can realize the fact that he has been quite successful in creating charm through new faces by watching all the six songs and two
musical pieces from the music album of this movie. the songs are quite melodious and visuals are quite attractive and inspiring. Each of these tracks are quite different from each other and move the story forward.
Siddharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt are new faces who would be making their debut through this movie.
there were rumors that this movie is a present time JO JEETA WOHI SIKANDAR but when Karan was inquired he clarified the fact that these rumors are there only because you see boys riding bikes in the movie but there is no tried and tested formula used in this movie and thus there are no similarities with JO JEETA WOHI SIKANDAR or MOHABBATEIN.
Further Karan also confirmed that these newcomers are bound by a contract with Dharma and that he would like them to work in the right projects only.
