Madhur Bhandarkar's upcoming film Heroine was reported to face trouble from the Censor Board regarding the issue of showing smoking scenes on screen. The Censor Board was not happy with makers to show the lead actress of the movie smoking on screen.
The makers were thus asked to run an anti-smoking ticker in all the smoking scenes of the movie. The makers didn’t wanted that and thus appealed in Delhi High Court claiming that the movie is now complete and adding the ticker now would be illogical.
The decision is now revealed from the court in favor of the makers of the movie and they makers are quite happy with this decision. They further said that they are quite excited about their request being honored of applying this decision to movies now moving in to production and not to ones that are already complete.
