Shabana Azmi celebrated her 62nd birthday on Tuesday and her house was open for guests but her husband Javed Akhtar and mom Shaukat Azmi welcomed guests at her house while Shabana was not there. She returned after around 3.5 hours and when she was asked for her disappearance in the party, it was quite surprising answer that she went to see Anurag Basu's film Barfi on her birthday all alone.
She further said that she wanted to give a good gift to herself and didn't want a company to watch this good movie. She really praised Ranbir and Priyanka's performance in the movie.
