Priyanka Chopra’s recent release Barfi is doing well on the box office and the actress is now approached by the FFA (The Forum For Autism- a support group for parents of autistic kids in the city) after her excellent performance of an autistic person in the movie. The organization has roped in actress to be the face for them and thus she will now be the brand ambassador for this noble cause.
The Chitra Iyer (FFA's trustee) after watching her performance was really surprised and said that Priyanka has done a wonderful job and her performance in the movie seems quite close to reality. This is the reason why they want Priyanka to be the face for their organization and this would spread the message of the cause really well.
Chitra further said that Priyanka is quite receptive and she has promised to help in all manners she can for the cause. FFA will also honor Priyanka once she is back in town. She further added that this movie spreads the message that autism is not a disease but it’s a disorder.
