Karan Johar's Student Of the Year did well on the box office and the collections were quite good. On the other hand however a legal case is filed against Karan Johar and the singer Shreya Ghoshal on Friday at Indore Court.
This case is filed on the use of word ‘sexy’ with the song ‘Radha’ in the movie.
An order was given for registration of case by Court of Judicial Magistrate First Class Santosh Prasad Shukla against Karan, Shreya, Gauri Khan, Udit Narayan, Vishal-Shekhar, lyricist Anvita Dutta and SONY
music for the use of objectionable word. Also a petition was filed in the local court by Manish Vishnoi Secretary of Shri Vision Social Empowerment and Welfare Association and Nilesh Jaiswal for the said issue on Thursday.
The petitioners have appealed in the court that this objectionable work should be removed from this song. The court has ordered the Palasia police station to register this case as this matter is cognizable.
