In order to make sure that the choreography is changed, Saroj Khan’s work has been relieved from her to Vishal Bharadwaj. It is heard that she has completed her work for Vishal’s forthcoming movie Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola and the only song left to be choreographed is 'Oye Boy Oye Boy Charlie'.
This track features all the lead actors of the movie including Imran Khan, Anushka Sharma, Aarya Babbar, Pankaj Kapur along with some junior stars. Saroj Khan did choreography of this song but Vishal looking for some change has scrapped her work completely and has redone with song totally. Vishal’s requirement for this number was entirely different what Saroj Khan did for this track.
A source close to this team confirms ‘Vishal holds Saroj ji in complete regards but this dream song of Vishal was not done in the manner Vishal wanted it to. He wanted a different unrehearsed kind of movements in this track and he wished that the actors should look spontaneous in terms of dance steps for this track. To achieve this, Vishal had to completely redo the choreography of this track.
To redo this song, Imran and Anushka had to accommodate their shooting dates. Imran and Anushka were quite sorry to reshoot this track while Saroj ji’s choreography was excellent but it was not according to the requirement for this track.
