VJ-actress Sophiya Haque was well known in 90s as a famous music channel VJ. After enjoying her success as a VJ, she stepped in to acting and made her debut in Bollywood town with a low budget comedy movie titled Snip. Few years back, she was diagnosed with cancer and she breathed her last in London.
Her demise is mourned by many Bollywood celebrities and some posted messages on twitter as well. Pooja Bhatt posted 'It is really tragic news to hear about death of a gorgeous woman Sophia Haque.' Director Ken Ghosh was also quite shocked on this sad news 'Just came to know about death of popular live ex VJ of Channel V Sophia Haque.'
