Movie rights for Hussain Zaidi's Headley & I has been bought by producer Sunil Bohra and there is news that a Hollywood star would be playing lead role of David Headley in this movie. When Sunil was contacted he didn’t revealed much information about this movie version however sources report that Crowe has been approached for this movie.
It is reported that this deal was finalized last week and the rights have cost him an amount that is never paid in history. Sunil has not disclosed this movie but claims that this kind of money is never paid by any producer of Indian film industry. He says that he didn’t thought twice on the demand of Hussain Zaidi as this book tells you the story of Mahesh Bhatt’s son Rahul Bhatt’s friendship with Headley and there is complete material in to it.
He has a desire to make this movie of international standards and thus he will be casting all super stars of Hollywood town such as Russell Crowe or George Clooney for lead role in the movie. Bohra says ‘I want to grab all the emotions of this story between Rahul Bhatt and Headley and thus the star cast would be internationally famous ones for international market.’
