Kamal Hassan's Vishwaroopam is facing trouble since the day this movie was announced. This movie got banned in various cities including Tamil Nadu and Karaikal and latest one added to the list is Hyderabad city. Police people have asked distributors, not to release this movie in sensitive zones on the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi. Moreover Home Minister, Sabita Indra Reddy has given orders to stop screening of this movie till January 28th. This is result of protest by some leaders of Muslim organizations.
Kamal Haasan claims that his Muslim brothers have mistaken the entire concept. ‘There are many Muslims who liked my movie and they had no complaints about concept and content. We also arranged for a special screening for representatives from Muslim organizations and they all supported it.’ This movie will be viewed by a senior judge today and its fate will be decided then.
Legendary Superstar Rajinikanth has shown complete support for Kamal Haasan and his movie and he requested entire Muslim community to allow release of Vishwaroopam. He says that leaders must sit with Kamal and discuss the issues to sort out the matter. He believes that Kamal Haasan is an extraordinary talented man for Tamil cinema.
