Vidya Balan was nominated and won various awards for her brilliant performance in Kahaani and The Dirty Picture. Now she is to begin her next movie which is a biopic based on classical singer MS Subbulakshmi. Vidya has a number of movies for this year beginning with Rajkumar's Ghanchakkar, then Shaadi Ke Side Effects and then sequel of Kahaani by Sujoy Ghosh or this biopic.
Much details of this movie are not revealed yet. This musical movie will be directed by Rajiv Menon. This year other Bollywood stars would be seen in biopics including Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar and Ranbir Kapoor. The biopic by Priyanka will be based on Mary Kom the Olympic pugilist, that of Ranbir Kapoor will be based on Kishore Kumar and Farhan Akhtar would be featured as Milkha Singh in the movie Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.
