Shilpa Shetty launched her own production house Essential Sports and Media Pvt. Ltd. some years back. Earlier in the year 2012, her production venture titled Diskkiyaaoon went on floor. Latest news about this movie is that Sanjay Dutt who was to play an extended cameo role in this movie has opted out of this movie. Reason told is issue with dates.
Sanjay Dutt is a close friend to Shilpa Shetty and is also a business associate with her husband Raj Kundra. He agreed to do this role initially but due to constant delays in this project Sanjay had to opt out of this project as he has committed dates for Rajkumar Hirani’s P.K.
Sanjay’s spokesperson confirms this news saying that Sanjay has a packed schedule for Hirani and Agarwal’s movie and thus he could not accommodate Shilpa’s movie. He doesn’t want Shilpa’s project to get effected by his dates so he opted out.
There is buzz that for this movie Sunny Deol will be replacing Sanjay Dutt. This movie is 70% complete and only cameo role is left. This movie features Harman Baweja, Aditya Panscholi and Prashant Narayanan in lead roles. This film is directed by debutant Sanamjit Singh Talwar and is themed on underworld in Mumbai. Cinematography is done on real locations by German cinematographer Axel Fischer.
