We have heard many of the Bollywood stars to have run in to different situations with law enforcement agencies. Latest one is Preity Zinta as she was questioned by the Enforcement Directorate. Reason behind this questioning was some irregularities noticed in the 2nd IPL.
This questioning is recorded and lasted for around 4 hours. Preity was questioned being the co-owner of Kings XI Punjab.
There were reports that illegal money is involved in this T-20. Also the commissioner Lalit Modi was sacked for alleged financial irregularities noticed during this tournament of Indian Premier League.
Others who were questioned earlier in this regard included former BCCI president Shashank Manohar, cricketer Ravi Shastri and Kolkata Knight Riders’ co-owner and actor SRK. They were questioned during IPL 2 in South Africa.
