Today, Vikram Malhotra resigned as COO of Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. He spent around 2 years with this production house and now he will continue pursuing his entrepreneurial desires. He also worked as the head of strategic distribution of Paramount Pictures International.
Vikram while talking about this news says ‘I have fulfilled my time at Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and it was a privilege for me to head such talented team of professionals. I would now work towards my own aspirations and dreams.’
Group CEO, Sudhanshu Vats says ‘Vikram has worked towards bringing Viacom 18 Motion Pictures among top players. Last two years have given immense success and the rules of Hindi cinema were redefined here. We have a number of impressive line ups with films like Chashme Baddoor, Madras Café, Boss and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. He will now pursue his own dreams and we wish him success.’
Last two years had been quite successful for Viacom with successful movies in their credits like Tanu Weds Manu, Son of Sardaar, Shaitan, Gangs of Wasseypur, Oh My God, Special 26 and many others.
