Celebrity Cricket League season 2 began on January 13, 2012. Salman's Mumbai Heroes after facing disastrous defeat last year are back with a bang and in their first game they performed brilliantly and won the match. The match they played was opposite the team of Suniel Shetty Chennai Rhinos and they were defeated by 23 runs by Mumbai Heroes. Chennai Rhinos were last year's winners however this time they lost it in the first match only. There was a huge crowd at the stadium to watch the match. Raja scored the best and was supported by Aftab Shivdasani. The Mumbai Heroes set a difficult target of 148 runs for their opposition team On his team winning the match, Salman was awarded a special memorabilia in the post match presentation ceremony. The memorabilia was a bat that was used in the 200th ODI at Sharjah last year when Pakistan played against Sri Lanka in November. The bat is signed by Pakistan team.
